Sometimes

First glances, impressions can be wrong, second chances, are few and far between, I try to tell you, but can you understand, a world that differs from all you’ve ever known?
Sometimes I forget to look you in the eye and when I’m happy, that I should smile. Sometimes I don’t know the words I’m supposed to say, and I need time to process everything around.
Loud noises echo all around, and crowded spaces I feel I’m gonna drown. A safe place is all I need right now. Will you listen or just let me shutdown.
